Family Testimonials

The thoughtful expressions describing our service from our clients and their families are the greatest compliment that we can receive.

"When my mother passed away, I just didn't know how I was going to get through it.  But Jerry Dillon and his staff took care of everything.  I had never met them before, yet they brought in such a sense of confidence that I knew immediately that I could trust them.  They were professional, compassionate and kind, all at the same time.  They listened.  They truly listened and took an interest in what I had to say.  It made me realize that they really cared.  I notice things like that.  Since then, I have been recommending them to everybody I know.  You can trust these guys."   --Janis Dover Barber, OK

"When my wife Carolyn passed away last year, Jerry Dillon and his staff at Woodland Memorial Park and Dillon Funeral Home made special accommodations of all my requests.  On the day before Carolyn's internment, when Jerry became aware that Carolyn had always wanted to be buried next to the Veterans section in the cemetery but had not been allowed by the previous owners, he and his staff made was impossible -- possible -- even though her burial space had already been prepared elsewhere."  --Ed Dubie Family, OK

"Jerry Dillon, his daughter Daniele and Frank Smith were very personable and willing to help in any way.  Although there were lots of difficult decisions to make, they made it as easy as possible, providing all the information without pushing us in any direction."  --Rosco Horton Family

Dear Scott,

Our family cannot express in words how much we appreciate the way you handled the arrangements in the recent death of our father. When we knew he was near the end, we had already decided to go with another group before we met you. Our minds were set. We knew they had been around forever, and our families had used them many times. We have nothing negative to say about them. They are competent, caring, and professional. However, when we came to the cemetery to select the burial spot, we met all of you. From the first conversation, we knew we wanted you to handle the arrangements because it was evident you would be in charge of every detail personally. That was the greatest confort to know that after having talked with us at length about our dad and about what we wanted for him, that you would be the one to do it all, A-Z, yourself, instead of hiring it out to others. The personal attention was sincere and conforting. We appreciated being able to call you at any time with any concern, and you had an answer.

Because the price difference was so significant, we were initially concerned about the professional quality of your services. Since we were making the arrangements ourselves, we knew we had our mother and siblings to please, so it was a lot of pressure. Thankfully, that was never an issue. Every detail was handled professionally and with the utmost competence.

By the time the funeral service was over, we felt such a bond with you all. The fact that you even delivered the food to the home yourselves and sat at the dinner table with the family made us feel that you weren't just doing your job, but your heart was in it all the way. You definitely went above and beyond our expectations. We received many compliments from our friends and family about what a touching and personal service you provided.

We made the best choice.

Warmest regards,

Cathy and Ken Wells
