Biography

John Michael Pearson, age 67 of Tulsa, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at his home.

John was born on October 23, 1943 in Pensacola, Florida to James Riley and Betty Barbara (Wehr) Pearson. He attended school at Madison Junior High in Tulsa and married Frances LaVern Boyd on August 30, 1961 in Sand Springs. The couple lived for many years on westside of Tulsa on Charles Page Boulevard before later moving to east Tulsa. John retired after forty-three years from Valmont Industries in the maintenance department. John enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the Red Castle Gun Club. John was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly miss.

John is survived by his wife Frances Pearson of fifty years, a son Dennis Pearson of Broken Arrow, two daughters Janet Cawvey of Tulsa and Karen Talley of Broken Arrow, three grandchildren Michael Talley of Broken Arrow, Kyle Cawvey and Joshua Cawvey both of Tulsa.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Betty Pearson and a sister Barbara Sue Taylor.
